I signed up for Skillshare as a free trial.

The afternoon BEFORE my trial was supposed to finish I received the email from them thanking me for subscribing to Premium.

Naturally, I was confused. It's normal for businesses to offer free trials in hopes you enjoy the item enough to really pay for it. What isn't normal is for your company to LIE for you and bill you daily before the free trial is supposed to finish, in effect frees you and stealing your money. I was furious.

I looked online and after 30 minutes of digging I found a phone number for the firm (Red flag, what valid company does not have an easily accessible customer support number?) . I called this number and it moved directly to voicemail. The voice on the research appeared like a stoned college kid, finish with "ums" and "likes" (Red flag amount 2). Now I was freaking out cause all these adventures were leading me to believe this really was a scam. The only real option left to me was to write them an email through their site. This was over 3 months past, and I've yet to receive a response.

I'm appalled at how they handle company (by tricking their clients, then ignoring their concerns). They stole my cash without warning and are currently unreachable.

I moved back to their website as well as their advertising for Premium is a lie. It clearly states that your Premium account is cancelable at anytime. What they actually mean is it's possible to cancel it so that it will not renew at the next billing cycle (which will be an entire year!!) . If their articles were some good, I would have happily continued using their services, but each of their videos are things I can find on YouTube or alternative areas at no cost. The only thing that I an do now is save others the hassle.

DO NOT register for your free trial. Should you do a bit more research you'll discover a plethora of different reviews like mine.

I wrote to Skillshare a last time, and it seems like from the previous 4 months they have really upped their client support match. I got a same-day response apologizing for my previous experience and having an offer to refund me all my money. This gesture was more than I anticipated, and I am thankful to know that individuals do actually work in this company, and it appears they are listening to the negative reviews and also attempting to create a better firm.
